CGE Network Server Transfer.
Dear Members and Guests,
CGE Network Homepage and Forums are expected to be transferred onto a new server by the end of Monday 10th December 2007. Final database backups will be taken on Monday 10th December 2007 around 11.00am +8.00 GMT. The new servers should be up and running between 12.00pm and 1.00pm +8.00 GMT.
We expect no downtime, however a chance to lose 1-2 hours worth of posts, replies or registerations processed on the old server. The worst case scenario may include a downtime of CGENetwork.com for a period of up to 2 hours. Changing name servers generally occurs instantly, with failed attempts taking up to 24 hours. We hope this process can occur smoothly with no troubles and have the CGE Network Site and Forums up and running with out any troubles.
Please let other members and friends know of the situation so that users and guests are not worried or missing information during these critical periods.
If you have any questions, please contact us today. Until 10th December 2007 CGE Network will halt all uploaded information on the server which is not related to databases (instead files). We are sorry for any troubles this may have caused.
