To help celebrate Christmas, CGE Network will be giving away five (5) new generation iPod shuffles [Sneak Preview] to the best user submissions during our event period (1^st of December 2009 to 10^th of January 2010). It is FREE to participate in this event and you are welcome to submit more than one article per category to help increase your odds of winning an iPod shuffle.

Here is how this event is going to operate. Registered users at CGE Network will be able to submit one or more article(s) into 1 of 4 categories;

• Category 1: Game Review
  • Individuals are required to describe and explain any of their favourite online game titles, making sure they include; game play, graphics, sound, unique features and community interactivity.

• Category 2: Game Guide
  • Individuals in this category are required to identify their most favourite online game feature or element and describe it in detail for other community members or potential gamers. Examples; levelling guides, quest guides, weapon enhancement guides and so on.

• Category 3: Media Exposure
  • Individuals that wish to fit under this category must display their own screenshots (at least 3) with a description of each one. You can also create your own comics, animation or user videos (i.e. YouTube) with music that help tell a story to other gamers.

• Category 4: Personal Stories
  • Individual gamers in this category are allowed to share their personal experiences or stories that are associated with their favourite online game. For instance, a story about a raid that went terribly wrong, or perhaps when their guild or party was victorious at a war.

At the end of the event period team members from CGE Network will be responsible for examining each of the submitted articles, in order to identify the top five (5) user articles. We will be looking for the following criteria in each submission; Authenticity, Engagement, Quality and Quantity (PDF: AEQQ). Winners will be announced on the 20^th of January 2009, with prizes distributed accordingly by respective game publishers.

Please take note that during this event period respect game publishers will be rewarding users with in game items, points and other merchandise for individuals that support their online games. Please make sure that your account information at CGE Network is valid and up-to-date to ensure you receive all necessary messages or emails.

Some game publishers have agreed to hand out prizes for user submissions that encompass their game titles; please refer to the official game website for specific instructions. Please beware that some game publishers will only hand out prizes at the end of the event period (10th January 2010).
