Rain Nation


Right before Millena was established the anti Millena group expelled by the first king Millenas had risked their lives and cross the Lette plane and arrived at the Illishia Mountain at the Southern part of Crise. They had created a village at the middle of the mountain in order to prevent the monsters and the troops from Millena from invading them.

They lacked enough resources and people to make weaponry so they turned their attention to the research of the proima magic from the ancient times in order to protect themselves. The hard efforts they made became practical and achieving by a genius magic researcher called Anat Rain.

Anat Rain is known to be the first and the last magician to deal with the ultimate proima, and created a magical republic of Rain with his followers. She has also established an academy to teach magic to the future generation.

After her death, more great magicians were taught at this institution, and their magical power of proima increased the national power of Rain.

Millenian invasion (A. U. 532~A. U. 643)

At the year of A. U. 532, two nations first got into the conflict at the Lette planes while they were both exploring. Millena had not known about the existence of Rain till that time so the confrontation with the enemy was quite shocking for Millena, but for Rain their time had finally come. With this small conflict, a long-lasting war for 100 years had started.

Compared to Millena which had been in their peaceful condition for a long time, Rain had been strong in both military and psychological means because they had been preparing for a long time. However, the reason why the war had lasted for 100 years was because at the Lette plane between two nations had unknown life, so Rain had to be always careful about the supply line and the rear.

However, it took long but Rain had won with their absolutely large military and attacking ability. Millena’s capital Millenas had been destroyed and most of Millena people had escaped to the jungle and hided there.

Exploration of the Lette planes (A. U. 643~A. U. 820)

Rain that had won the war had a steady developing era for 180 years, and at that time the research of the monsters at the Lette planes and high magic was concreted, and the population increases. To accommodate the increased population they decided to build the city at Lette plane and sent out scholars first.

Rains Monster researcher Mananan McNir categorized monster according to the 6 civilization, and continuously researched them by engaging in conflicts and contacts, but when he tried to contact with an unknown tribe he died leaving his research result behind.

On the other hand, high level magician Arkheart Rain categorized proimas into 5 categories, and arranged their characteristics and enlightened the research of the high level magic.

Based on these two great scholars’ research, Rain had gained the power and information to fight against the enemy at the Lette Plane, but the pioneer crew sent to the Lette plane barely returned. It was due to the unknown tribe that Mananan Rain died from. As a result Rain starts a war with them, but their location is unidentified, and their fighting ability is great so they get a huge sacrifice and retreat from the Lette Plane.

Millena’s re-attack (A. U. 820~A. U. 1200)

Meanwhile, the Millena people who hided at the deep jungle had rebuilt their strong physical strength and ability. They had formed their base, and developed the military technique and weaponry to fight against Rain.

At A. U. 820, Millena found out that Rain had been damaged by the unknown monster tribe eat the Lette Plane and Millena’s attack had begun.

At this time, both nations’ military ability was almost equal, but Rain was unable to have a base at the Lette plane so their supply line got long. As a result they had to return Millena to Millenas.

Millena was able to regain their capital, but they were not able to cross Lette plane as well so two nation’s repeat small and large conflicts for 380 more years.

Diplomatic relations established, and increase of population (A. U. 1200~A. U. 1322)

For a long time war had led to decrease of population and national power, and this had been the motivation for the monsters at the Lette plane to invade them. Even worse, both nations were unable to protect themselves from the attack of the monsters, so with the arrangements of the moderates two nations signed a cease-fire agreement at A. U. 1200, and after 1 year they established diplomatic relationship with each other and the long history of war ends.

After 200 years from the diplomatic relations, both nations’ population steadily increased and due to the population increase the food resource fell short, so in order to supply the shortage the constraint on population and enlarging the territory was necessary so the pioneering crew was sent out to the Lette plains.

Finding of Elda stone and new conflicts (A. U. 1322 ~ )

The pioneering crew went out by both nations searched for a adequate land to make village, Millena from North to South, and Rain from South to North. During the process, they found a new resource called elda stone at a similar period.

Rain’s politics (A. U. 1420~)

Rain’s political order was established at A. U. 300 by the first chair of 10 person committee “Saradin Eshilat”, and with this base the political system continues with small changes made due to the time.
Basically, the administration with 10 person committee, legal ministry with 20 person committee, and legislation with 50 person committee are handled. The chair of 10 person committee has the highest authority of the government and highest commanding position of the military.

The 50 person committee that deals with the legislative part is elected by the public, and among these 50 people, 10 people are voted to become 10 person committee. The 10 person committee including the chair nominates legal acts committee members from R.S.D. members to committees such as legislative committee, public security committee and so on. They also have rights to nominate administrators and military personnel.

The legal ministry has the R.S.D. and R.P.D. as the legal executer. Recently, the 10 person committee formed a pioneering crew to develop a new city and explore elda stone, and make this crew as their sub committee, but they are faced with the oppose of the 50 person committee and the public due to the concern of the power centered to them.
