The Fall of the Elves

Living in the forest and basking in the essence of Nature, the Elves are a beautiful race with elegant manners. Blessed by the God of Time and keepers of the "Divine Tears", they are a humble and peaceful group and are able to live for all eternity without ever growing old and have never tasted the mark of death.

One day, tragedy struck in the form of a fatally wounded Prince of the Dragon Race, Ryuken. He was found dying by the Princess Ryoda of Elven Race. Out of sheer kindness and from the goodness of her own heart, she used the powers from the Divine Tears to heal the fatally wounded prince to save his life.

As time passed and as the prince recouperated under her care, she soon found herself falling in love with the prince. However, it was forbidden for an Elf to fall in love with someone of a different race. The elders of the Elven Council objected to them being together and hence both the Dragon Prince and the Elven Princess decided to elope, bringing along with them the fabled Divine Tears.

Tradegy befell the Elves that day, for as soon as the sacred stone was taken out the village, it turned into a clear crystal in the shape of a tear, and with it’s change, the Elven Race was no longer under the protection of the God of Time. The eldest of the elders started dying one by one. Fearing their extinction, a huge majority of Elves, under the leadership of Arunas, took up arms and went to war with the Dragon Race in an attempt to recover the Divine Tears in order to save their race.


Heart of a Dragon

Descendants of the Dragon God and possessing the dragon like instincts, the Dragon people are a race often stifled with internal wars and conflicts as members of the royal family constantly waged war against one another in a bid to become the next Emperor.

One can only become the next Emperor by killing the current one and one can only remain on the throne so long as one is not assassinated by another. Due to their strong belief in survival of the fittest, the people only believed in their Emperor if he was able to fend off his attackers.

Prince Ryuken had once tried to overthrow the thrown but failed horribly. Fatally wounded, he wandered into an area bordering the Dragon Race and Elves, bleeding to death.

With Princess Royda's help and using the powers from the Tears, Prince Ryuken overcome all odds and became the new Emperor of the Dragon Race with Princess Ryoda becoming his Queen.

As no one could challenge the powers of the Divine Tears, they enjoyed many years of peace and harmony under his reign. But on the tenth year, Emperor Ryuken suddenly went crazy, using military might to remove anyone who opposed his rule and enforced harsh rules upon his citizens. Queen Ryoda was unable to change his behavior, much to her chagrin.

Hence the largest civil war in the history of the Dragon Race erupted; bringing chaos once again back into the lands of the Dragon Race. The Elves declared war on them at the same time so as to retrieve their treasure, the Divine Tears, amidst the chaos.


The Uncertain Future

Wielders of scientific and futuristic knowledge, they pride themselves on their vast and advanced technology over all other races. With technology, they were able to create a new strain of DNA which makes them stronger and faster than an average person.

They also manufactured small but extremely powerful weapons for use in wars believing that with bigger better weapons, less of their own lives would be lost by ensuring the obliteration the enemy before they are under attacked.

Technology proofed to be a double-edged sword for them. Due to the ease of living which their technology brought about, a large group of militant extremists banded together. War-savvy fanatics, using heavily–armored weaponries and even biological weapons to cause terror and hoping to overthrow the government, citing that they are nothing but weaklings if they do not fully utilize their technology to conquer the world for the greater good.

As a result, the main government, the Gibraltar Federation, was almost toppled by one of the biggest group of war fanatics, the Black Nazis.

Even though the rebellion failed, the country’s resources were severely depleted and scientists were unable to create any new breakthrough in technology to salvage their situation. As a result, the Gibraltar Federation was forced to make a decision to obtain the Divine Tears as it is their only hope in restoring their dying land.
