2029 Online: Item Binding Insures Against Loss In 2029 Online (http://2029.igg.com), some items bind to the looting character when they are picked up, but many do not. While it is often useful to leave some equipment unbound so it can be transferred to another character or traded, there are also advantages to binding equipment to a character. Any piece of equipment can be bound to a specific character, thus preventing it from dropping when the character suffers a defeat in PvP. Even the most powerful characters may occasionally meet a superior foe in PvP. If a character’s best gear is bound to them, a player need not fear losing it in combat. Furthermore, bound items cannot be transferred. By binding equipment they don’t want to lose or trade, players can protect themselves from account hackers who typically steal valuable items from characters they have illegally accessed. If you consider binding as a way to insure your gear against loss or theft, it can be a very useful tool indeed. To bind body armor, helmets, weapons, or any other item your character can wear, visit one of the NPC craftsmen found in each of the main cities.
