Angels Online: Get the Inside Scoop on the Next Expansion
Are you ready for the next awesome expansion for Angels Online? While the residents of Eden were busy enjoying the wonders of the Floating Island, Satan, leader of the Evil Lyceum, was planning his next move. Now a struggle looms in the near future between brave Angels and the Demons of the Evil Lyceum. The Escape from Candy Land expansion is coming, and here’s a preview of what players will see when it goes live in July.
New Storyline
The mysterious fairy realm known as Candy Land was created by taking the most wonderful memories of the world and preserving them in a paradise protected from the ravages of time. Satan has his sweet tooth set on controlling both time and Candy Land itself. Using his mastery of dark magic, he created a teleportation portal between Eden and the sweet paradise. Legions of demons and devils from the Evil Lyceum marched through and corrupted everything they touched.
New Skills and Equipment
The enlightened tutors of the Angel Lyceum have created new skills and spells after decades of research. They are now ready to share the fruits of their labors to assist the Angels who are busy fighting against the Evil Lyceum. Powerful new skills and spells will be available to players when the Escape from Candy Land expansion is released.
New Fusion and Pet Systems
Several new systems are set to revolutionize the game. The most prominent of these is the new Fusion System, which will allow players to create brand new items by fusing two or more different items together. There’s also a new Pet-catching system that will give players the chance to capture any monster that catches their eye and raise it as a pet.

Angels Online: Fuzz Balls Evolve Into Powerful Pets
Ever since IGG’s Angels Online team added Fuzz Ball Eggs to the game, players have been eager to raise and train their new pets. If you don’t have one yet, read on to find out why these new pets have become all the rage in Eden.
Fuzz Balls are one of the oldest forms of life in Eden. However, a mysterious magical power sealed them underground for eons. When an interest in archeology swept through the land, scientists uncovered the latent eggs and word quickly spread of their discovery. The Fuzz Balls are pure because they existed before the Angel Lyceum and Evil Lyceum were founded. These blank slates have the potential to become either a devil or an angel. It all depends on how their masters decide to train them.
First Stage of Growth
Like other pets in Eden, Fuzz Balls start out as eggs that passively accompany their masters. When they reach level 15, the Fuzz Balls hatch to reveal a round and bulging shape, large liquid eyes, and flapping wings. White wings mark the pets as angels while black wings show them to be devils. Whether they will grow to become angelic protectors or devilish destroyers, a Fuzz Ball’s destined fate has only just begun to be reflected in its appearance at this stage.
Second Stage of Growth
Using a Medium Blood Certificate, players can help level 35 Fuzz Ball pets evolve into their second stage of growth. Fuzz Angels have an angelic halo and a pair of white wings. They are good at attacking while providing various magic buffs for their masters during combat. Fuzz Devils have a pair of bat ears and black wings and can cast critical damage spells on enemies.
Third Stage of Growth
At level 55, the pets need an Advanced Blood Certificate to evolve into their final shapes. Some have bloody eyes and wield a huge Azrael Hook. Others boast huge white wings and an amiable manner while wielding an Angel Wand. There are five distinct Fuzz Ball pet types in Eden, and each of them possesses unique and awesome attributes. They may be good at using ranged attacks or perform quick warrior strikes. Players should take their class strengths and weaknesses into account when deciding what kind of Fuzz Ball to raise to achieve the perfect balance in combat.

Angels Online Dev Journal: Birth of Assassins
Floating Island, the new expansion for Angels Online, was launched nearly two months ago, introducing tons of fantastic new content like the Crown Jewel. Since the release, the new Assassin class has been quietly gathering player’s attention. Here, the Angels Online Dev team shares their excitement about how and why they designed this new class.
Assassins are a paradox between secrecy and wide-ranging notoriety. Everyone seems to know of them, but no one knows anything about them. Most picture them in black masks and robes, clutching a dagger or wielding some mysterious weapon. But where do they come from? Where do they acquire their skills and training? Nobody seems to know. The Assassin’s powerful explosive force makes this class one of the most exciting and challenging to play in Angels Online, and the release of this class takes the in-game PVP system to a whole new level of challenge.
Players may wonder why the Angels Online Dev team didn’t release this fantastic class at the very beginning of the game. When it was first released, the game introduced the wars between Heaven and the Evil Lyceum as the main storyline. Each character class possesses a main attack skill and five assistant skills to help wage war against evil. As the game has progressed, players have become quite creative. They’ve learned how to mix various skills and various classes together more effectively. Now, even common classes can hold myriad possibilities for clever players. The unique classes and battle skills combined and created by players surpassed even the Dev team’s expectations. Players were so excellent at creating effective combinations that it inspired the Dev team to design a brand new class.
In Angels Online, Assassins differ from other classes which can train a battle skill and five assistant skills. Assassins are free to learn three battle skills including Shadow Blade, Avatar, and Assault, and three assistant skills. In addition to the necessary attributes that are obtained after the character levels up, each battle skill also grants players the ability to learn three different battle stances. Shadow Blade is the most basic, but it’s an indispensable skill for Assassin class players. The Avatar skill grants players the ability to summon several assistants who assist the player, and the Assault skill offers players various additional buffs. All three of these skills work in conjunction with each other to make Assassins a feared and respected class. The Dev team considered the in-game battle system and carefully balanced Assassins with other classes. The choice was made to decrease Assassin’s natural health points (HP). Now, when players encounter an Assassin who possesses striking attack power but relatively lower HP, anything might happen! Be warned, though: players using the Assassin class go to battle believing that “One shall stand, one shall fall!”
There is no doubt that Agility is an essential attribute to help pull off daring and danger missions and quests. The Assassin class excels in this attribute. It features the highest Agility rating in Angels Online, which allows them to master quick attacks and fast movement. A player facing an Assassin may not have much time to, say, critique the Assassin’s outfit. What’s more, the Dev team also forged a series of new and unique weapons for Assassins. Inside a player’s inventory, the new weapons might appear as typical swords used by Swordsmen. However, when Assassin class players clutch that same weapon in hand, everything changes. Players won’t be able to see the details of the weapon because of the Assassin’s incredible speed. Stealth is another unique skill for Assassin players. It grants them the ability to hid within any environment, completely invisible to others. This allows them to operate competently and effectively on the battlefield.
With the release of the Floating Island expansion, the competition between Heaven and the Evil Lyceum is becoming more and more complex. The Dev team for Angels Online feels that now that the system design and detailed game adjustments have been made, it’s time to launch the new Assassin class. Now it’s in the hands of the players to explore the Assassin class’s potential powers and the possibilities it holds. Who knows how the battles will now unfold? Will this new class turn the tide of war? How will players integrate Assassins into their goals? Only time will tell!

Angels Online: New Botti Palace Instance Unveiled
Defeating the four priests near the giant stone gate at Botti Palace opens the door to the center of the palace. What awaits players in its depths? Today the Angels Online team is happy to give players a sneak peek into the most dangerous areas of Botti Palace and the deadly BOSSes that dwell therein.
Thinker’s Room: Charming Daphne
Charming Daphne’s followers used to gather here and train around the crystals. However, Daphne and her dancing girls now occupy this hallowed room. Her spells are extremely powerful because they draw strength from the crystals. When she is near death, she can divide her soul into four elemental avatars. This will put players’ elemental resistances to the test.
Library: Mystic Keith
Many precious books are found in Mystic Keith’s library, but no one knows what schemes cunning Keith has set in motion from inside this room. Pay close attention to the books on the floor. You may find yourself stung by spurs emerging from the books at any moment. As if there aren’t already plenty of dangers to be found here, Keith is also an expert assassin. He doesn’t even need to enter stealth first if he wants to cast a spell. His power and resourcefulness present players with a life and death crisis.
Ballroom: Dancing Simon
Dancing Simon’s followers loved to gather here and enjoy festive balls together after a hard day of work. Now Simon and his sky army attack anyone who dares to enter the room. They are not what you would call gracious hosts. Even if you have no fear of Simon’s magic attack, the dreaded archers around him will certainly give you pause. Without the right protection, you may end up looking like a hedgehog as their arrows pierce you with a swift attack and an additional attribute attack.
Back Garden: Monsters’ Pets
The magnificent flowers and lush grass that once grew in the garden have been destroyed by the monsters’ pets. When you try to pass through, take care not to be bitten by one of the pets as they graze.
Luna Palace: Lilith
Take a deep breath before you confront the mistress of Luna Palace. Lilith’s evil power is the most daunting challenge on the Floating Island. The knowledge she has gained from the legendary Holy Book give her access to devastating spells. She can also absorb players’ HP to restore her health during the battle. A blitzkrieg strategy is your best chance to stop her. Lilith can summon several avatars to aid her and set horrible death magic traps as well. If you can defeat her avatars one by one and survive her spells, then victory will be within your reach.

Angels Online: New Skills for New Adventures
The Floating Island upgrade for IGG’s Angels Online introduces new and more dangerous challenges. Fortunately for players, the tutors of the Angel Lyceum are offering new skills for each class.
Imposing Spells for Magic Users
Defensive Wall surrounds a Life Mage’s nearby teammates with a protective wall of light blessed by God, greatly increasing all their physical and spell defense abilities for 30 minutes.
Cloud Burst gathers the water vapor from vast clouds to create a sudden burst of energy that increases the caster’s critical strike chance.
Shining Skills for Fighters
Revolving Swords is a short-range AOE ability. Swords begin swirling from every direction around the caster, slashing enemies nearby and possibly slowing their attack speed. With this skill added to their arsenal, players can better protect themselves from enemies while unleashing powerful attacks.
Heave Crack is another short-range AOE ability. It splits the ground with a deafening “crack,” throwing rocks and debris at targeted enemies with a chance to reduce the target’s armor. Only the powerful Warrior players can use this skill.
Chaotic Snipe rains countless magic arrows down upon the target location, seriously injuring any enemies in the area. In addition to the damage inflicted, this ability can also prevent enemies from moving.
