With a brand new chapter in the Legends Return expansion on the way, and a series of thrilling summer festivities, we've prepared a big load of fun to keep you busy and happy during the summer months! This year, let's beat the heat with CO's Summer Vacation!

Starting on June 23rd, this summer vacation will be running through all July and August. It consists of both on-line and off-line events, like a special shopping rush, many interesting and rewarding online quests, some fantastic free gift packs, a CP shower, crediting promotions and lot more goodies ready for you to claim!

Since unveiled in 2003, Conquer Online has attracted millions of players from around the world, to immerse themselves in a fabulous world of ancient Chinese mythology. As a PvP Oriented MMO, Conquer Online was always famous for its unique PvP system, with which players can experience dynamic and furious combat with other skillful opponents. However, after 7-years of development, the TQ team has also noticed the problem of the the gear gap between players becoming wider and wider, which has a serious negative impact on CO's PvP gameplay.

To balance the gear gap and enhance the competition for PvP combat, Conquer Online will soon execute some important modifications on the Item Socketing & Mining systems, to provide common players with a greater opportunity to obtain those rare and powerful items. With the adjusted socketing system, players will have a higher chance to make sockets on their gear when they use a Meteor to upgrade it.

Meanwhile, the items available to dig up in the Mines will include various types of rare items. You may even be able to find powerful items like Dragon Balls and all types of Gems from piles of ordinary ore!

Another modification, increasing minimum damage, is under adjusting, and will be delivered to the community for the discusssion. Our aim is clear - enhance and balance the gameplay for all players, and return the fun back to PKing!

Adventurers, it's time to bring the honor and glory back to the world of CO, with the Legends Return!

TQ Digital is proud to announce the 1st wave of the Legends Return expansion series - Season 1: The Shadow of Darkness will descend upon the world of Conquer Online at Midnight 0:00, April 27th! In season 1 of the expansion, players will be able to experience the prelude to the days of chaos. As the prophecy of the Sub-Classes is fulfilled, a formidable demon has broken the seal set by ancient heroes, and returned to the mortal world. The demon proclaimed itself the "Demon Overlord", and summoned all the demons from beneath our world to construct his legion of darkness.

After the server maintenance, players of Conquer Online will be able to experience the fabulous features brought by Patch 5250.

Features of Legends Return Season 1

1. Sub-Class System: 6 types of Sub-Classes have been deciphered by the scholars: the Apothecary, the Martial Artist, the Chi Master, the Warlock, the Sage and the Performer. Each of these skills can provide its practicers with the unique bonus state. When adventurers reach level 70, they can go to the Job Center to study these powerful, ancient arts.
2. Artifact System: Utilizing the fragments of a Dragon Soul, players can purify their current gear, converting them into Artifacts with incredible elemental powers!
3. Weapon Accessories: As a by-product of the Artifact Gear research, the artisans also invented some fascinating Equipment Accessories which players can use to decorate their gear!
4. 3-6th Floors of Frozen Grotto: New dungeons have been opened for adventurers to explore. On 3-6th Floors of Frozen Grotto, you can battle against the legions of demon and challenge the ultimate boss, the Terato Dragon.
5. Small Boss Hunting: Powerful monsters are roaming the world map, transporting Dragon Souls, Equipment Accessory and Refinery Packs back to their dens! The time has come to hunt them, and claim these valuable items for ourselves!
6. New Daily Quests: 6 new Daily Quests are coming to provide you with rich rewards and intriguing storylines.

• Ninja full Super gear set visual effect added.
• 3 new 500/1000 tables for Texas Hold'em Poker.
• Expanded Warehouses.
• Lottery box category display is added
• The gender prerequisite for the Orchid Quest is removed.
• Chat Interface: a) players can send item info in chat by pushing Ctrl+LMB. b) The Black List for chatting will be saved.
• Horse Racing Tournament: Item release shortcut is added.
• The mark of inscribed becomes invisible when players are checking other players' equipment.
• The Dragon Ball drop alert sound is added
• The Last Name section has been removed from the new character creation process.

Legends Return, the 3rd expansion of TQ Digital's Kung-Fu themed MMORPG Conquer Online, is set for release at the end of April, 2010! The whole expansion is divided into 3 seasons, with the 1st season, the Shadow of Darkness, set to bring players thrilling new features! This beginning will include the Sub-Class System, new dungeons, a new gear system, and new quests!

The upcoming new gear system will introduce 2 new concepts to Conquer Online: the Artifact and the Weapon Accessory. Apart from the Sub-Classes, the ancient heroes have left their offspring with another rare treasure, the Dragon Souls, to use in the fight against the ultimate evil. Utilizing the fragments of a Dragon Soul, players can purify their current gear, converting them into Artifacts with incredible elemental powers! There are various types of Dragon Souls which can be acquired from bosses scattered in the world of Conquer, or the Terato Dragon, the powerful puppet of the Demon Overlord.

To purify different types of gear, the corresponding types of Dragon Souls are required. Moreover, the Terato Dragon would have a chance to drop high-phase Dragon Souls, which will not only provide greater bonus effects, but also grant some magnificent visual effects for your gear!

Artifact System Guide

As a by-product of the Artifact Gear research, the artisans also invented some fascinating Equipment Accessories which players can use to decorate their gear! There are various Weapon Accessories for adventure's personal choice: you can remake your 2-handed weapon look like a broom, or disguise your bow as a harp! Adventurers can acquire these whimsical accessories by slaughtering monsters roaming on the continents on Conquer Online. Remember, just like Refinery and Artifact, Weapon Accessories have a valid duration of 7 days.
