Ready for the Shower of Refinery Items
TQ Digital is glad to announce another event for
its world-renowned Kungfu MMORPG Conquer Online, this March. The
upcoming event, Refinery Storm, will be
launched at 17:00, March 18, and last until 18:00, Mar 22 PDT.
In Feb, TQ rolled out a notable gear system, Refinery, in
Conquer Online. With this new feature, CO's players are able to utilize Refinery Items
to infuse their gear with various types of extra attributes. According
to the Type and Quality of the Refining item, the effects of the
Refinery will be varied.
During the Refinery Storm event, all monsters scattered in the world
of Conquer Online will have a chance to drop the Legend
Refinery Pack when killed. By unwrapping these packs, players
will be able to obtain random types of Refinery Items. Meanwhile, there
will also be a screenshot contest which
allows players upload their refinery equipment screenshot to CO's
Official Site to win bounteous rewards.

After opening it's gates in 2003, 7 years of
Conquer Online has seen millions of players flood the high-kicking MMO's
servers, immersing themselves in the grand adventure of Kung Fu
heritage and ancient Chinese mythology.
TQ Digital are honoured to announce that the game will be kept as
fresh and vibrant as ever in 2010, thanks to the upcoming April release
of it's reinvigorating 3rd official expansion, Legends
Return.
Following the New Dynasty (2008) and Riding
Clans (2009) expansions, Legends Return is being billed as a
special present for Conquer Online's loyal playing community, bringing a
plethora of major new features and improvements that were requested
during the games 2010 New Year's Resolutions event, which allowed users
to put forward their game related wants-and-suggestions in a classic new
years resolution format.
Listening to the heart of the community and delivering to their needs
has been an integral part of keeping Conquer Online both appealing and
exciting to play over it's 7 year reign, and Legends Returns will be a
defining example of this.
After processing the most impressive and majority requests, CO's
players can expect a new skill system, high grade
equipment, new guild wars, gritty dungeons, intricate quests, a new
class (Monk), and much, much more! This thrilling content will be
released in 3 exciting chapters throughout 2010, beginning with the
first chapter in April and lasting until the final chapter is introduced
at the end of the year.
In Chapter 1, the first release of the Legends Return expansion, the
Shadow of Darkness will throw players into an age of chaos and
destruction. An ancient legend has told of special sub-classes that will
be recovered when evil befalls the land, and now that prophecy has been
fulfilled. New skills and fabled weapons were recently unearthed by
thieves, but their blind lust for gold has seen them unwittingly help an
incredibly powerful, unspeakably evil demon rise from the very pits of
hell.

The 1st Chapter of Legends Return is scheduled to hit CO this April.

Conquer Online is happy to inform our players that the 2010
Fallas Festival event is arriving in Twin City on March 6th! During
this Spanish festival, you can craft various types of magical wood
carvings, then exchange these carvings for the various Blazing Packs as
your reward!
Fallas, the festival of fire, is a traditional celebration in
Valencia, Spain, that was began back in the Middle Ages. Between the
15th and 19th of March, local folks have a custom to burn up elaborated
ninots, puppets or dolls with a well-known local personality, to
celebrate the onset of spring. With time, people of the neighborhood
started organizing the process of the creation of the Fallas and
monuments of various figures were created as part of the celebration.
Several years back, a group of foreign merchants arrived in the
middle kingdom from across the sea, and brought this grand festival to
the residents of Twin City. This March, the bright blaze of this
celebration will light up the universe of Conquer Online!

Requirement:
Level 20 or above
The event is divided into 2 steps. First, to participate in the
carnival, players are required to prepare some special wood carvings.
You can obtain the material from the carpenters and monsters scattered
around the world of CO. Second, hand in the elaborate wood carvings to
Fallas Mercury, and you can obtain one of four types of Blaze Packs.
With the Transformation Brands inside the packs, players can join the
Fallas parade and receive some special gifts!

For the upcoming Chinese New Year, Conquer Online has prepared a string of quests for its global community to experience the profound and colorful customs of times past in this Chinese-style MMORPG.
Chinese New Year, also referred to as Spring Festival, is the most
important of the Chinese holidays. According to the Chinese Zodiac,
2010 is the year of the Tiger, and this year's Spring Festival happens
to fall on February 14, the same day as Valentine's Day.
The Conquer Online 2010 Chinese New Year Quests will start on Feb 11th, and last till Feb 22nd,
in which you will have an opportunity to take part in various
traditional festivities with other players all around the world! You
can set off fireworks for a new year's blessing, join the imperial
parade in Twin City and greet friends disguised as various types of
monsters! Meanwhile, the deity Lucky Tiger is warning of the danger
that is getting close, as the residents of Twin City are all indulging
in the celebration. These evil predators are plotting to escape from
their cages when the seal becomes weak during the Spring Festival. To
prevent these predators from spoiling the gallant celebration, brave
adventurers must work together to perform the seal ceremony and send
back these monsters to their cages.
From the quests, you can not only earn rich rewards, such as Fortune
Packs, Fireworks and Double Exp, etc. but also experience game versions
of some customary Chinese New Year traditions.
Plus, Conquer Online will also provide players with some romantic episodes for St Valentine's Day from Feb 12th to Feb 14th.
You will be able to help a virtuous fox genie fight prejudice and gain
her true happy ending, have a magical tour of Fox Eden in the disguise
of a little fox, or just receive a Valentine's Day Timing Bonus from
Fox Spirit.
