Cronous Ninth Season Update Devil’s Playground to be Introduced
Seoul, South Korea – June 07, 2010 - Several hundred years have passed since the end of The Fifth Tartanos War. The world was enjoying its peace after the fall of the Maquapel legions… so the world believed. Little do they know that deep inside the regions where no living beings dared to intrude were the hideouts of the many remnants of the once proud Maquapel legions. Slowly, but surely, they were recuperating to spill terror on the continent of Cronous once more. From various regions were signs of the Maquapel forces gathering to a place known as Devil’s Playground. Soon there will be war.
The Fifth Tartanos War was called Falma War by the Coellis sect in memory of its salvation and Martariel War by the Macuapel sect in memory of the resurrection of its beloved Devil, Matarial. It was this war that brought the two powers – Coellis and Macuapel – clashing and the end of the Macuapel sect as the war has left the legion scattered all around Cronous after the death of a great leader called Primodium.
The only way they could regain power was through Hollow day 1,000 years later. Now, it seems, the wait is over as the Macuapel sect slowly rise into power through a world called Devil’s Playground. It would be up to the players to stop the advancing Macuapel Legions.
Enter Devil's Playground through the NPC called Maelle in Castle Unos from Monday to Friday around 20:00 in Free to Play MMO Cronous. All Devil’s Playgrounds will transform from regular hunting ground to a ruthless battle ground and will last for an hour. Their objectives will be to capture and guard the Blessing Stones.
Once the raid is over, the participants will be summoned to the re-spawn spot at the center. Depending on the number of occupied posts, the winners will receive extra experience buff for 23 hours. Losers on the other hand, will encounter a deadly monster called "Desert Kaniboros" in their hunting zone.

All New Union War in CroNous
New update scheduled for mid-January
Seoul, Korea – January 21, 2010 – Cronous is introducing a new Union War system. Finally, the spectacular revolution will begin. There will be unprecedented changes to the Cronous war system, including rewards for both winning and losing sides.
In the new Union War system, with each Union consisting of five guilds, a defending Union will have to confront the two besieging Union. The ultimate goal of the defending Union will be to prevent the besieging Union from performing the 30 second Will of the King ceremony for 100 minutes. For the besieging Union to perform the Will of the King ceremony, they will have to pass the Outer Gate, Inner Gate and the Two Guard Tower. However, they are expected to meet fierce resistance from the defending Union.
If the besieging Union wins the war, they will become the new owner of the castle, and the right to tax players will be bestowed upon them with the Union Leader being granted a crown to be worn until the next Union war. For each win, the Union members, who have acquired more than 2000 honor points during the relevant Union War, will also be given 3 points for their victory. Furthermore, the honor points gained during the Union War will be available for use to purchase items in the Honor Point Item Shop. Also, with enough Honor Points, the players will be granted a rank in the following order: Caim, Berial, Beelzebub, Astaroth, Lucifuge, Marves and Lucifer.

Cronous Popularity Surges in Taiwan Rapidly approaching goal of 10,000 CCU
Seoul, Korea – May 26, 2009 – Lizard Interactive’s globally played fantasy MMORPG title Cronous successfully officially opened service in Taiwan on May 20 with the number of concurrent users quickly reaching over 5,000. The Taiwanese online game market is one of the most competitive markets in the world with new games constantly being launched. Lizard Interactive CEO Sang Wook Lee commented, “The successful launch of Cronous was largely due to the innovative and extensive marketing and promotional strategies of XtraVision Entertainment, Lizard Interactive’s publisher for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao”.
In order to ensure that XtraVision encountered no unexpected problems, Lizard Interactive sent a team of programmers to assist on site before and after the launch. This decision paid off as the number of users surged and four additional servers had to be installed quickly to accommodate them.
XtraVision Entertainment Chairman Victor Wu commented, “Originally, we had planned for 9 servers, but due to the overwhelming number of users, 4 servers were added. We plan to continue to add servers as the number of users increase and are confident that we will reach our goal of 10,000 concurrent users for Cronous.
XtraVision Entertainment signed a publishing agreement for the game portal NeoFun.com operated by Lizard Interactive and its games in January of this year. There was extensive localization of Cronous for the Taiwan market for four months before its launch on May 20 with a new name for the Taiwanese market as Crusades 2. XtraVision is now preparing the launch of two more MMORPGs, Sho Online and Land of Magic in the second half of this year.

Cronous Launched in Taiwan
Seoul, Korea – May 21, 2009 – Lizard Interactive announced that XtraVision Entertainment, strategic partner in Taiwan, officially started service of the globally played fantasy MMORPG title Cronous for Taiwan last May 20, 2009. The decision to start official service came only after five days of Open Beta Testing and no Closed Beta Testing. Cronous is already serviced in many major countries and stable, so CBT was deemed unnecessary. OBT started on May 15 and the number of concurrent users quickly climbed to over 5,000. With a major Taiwan holiday coming up, it was decided to start official service on May 20 with special opening celebration events.
Lizard CEO Sang Wook Lee stated that the successful launch was in main part due to the detailed market studies and major promotional campaigns by XtraVision in all the major media platforms.
Cronous is a long running fantasy MMORPG title developed by Lizard Interactive using its own proprietary 3D game engine. As with other Lizard Interactive MMORPGs, Cronous is constantly updated and renewed to meet the needs of today’s gamers.
