Tower of priest introduction

Emperor Temoth I was all anxiety for the contract that he’d made with I’Lryer prior to the abolishment of the Balkhan Emperor and unification of Geheneh: “I’ll give you a power in exchange with the eldest sons of your monarchs,” said the powerful I’Lryer. Blinded by a desire for the power, Temoth said yes and he enthroned himself with the power endowed by I’Lryer.

The old emperor couldn’t do nothing but regret his choice every time he faced the dashing figure of his eldest son, young Temoth II, who was named after the father.

One day, I’Lryer came to Temoth I urging him to execute the contract, but was driven out of the palace by the emperor. As if he expected, I’Lryer left one word before he quietly left the palace: “You’ll now have to pay the price for breaking the contract.”

I’Lryer walked across Geheneh heading north to Highland of the Sky, the land of GuhBalhan. Behind him following his way, a closed world of magic opened awakening big and small fairies from their thousand years of sleep. Unlike their pure and innocent nature described in legend, the fairies were heinous and violent influenced by the spirit of demons--that exist in the gap of space and time--during their millenary sleep. To calm down the angered fairies, the blood of five ancient tribes of Geheneh, but Temoth I was oblivious because he betrayed I’Lryer.

I’Lryer is now waiting for a warrior who will seal the gap of space and time by unveiling ancient secrets and the identity of the demons at Highland of the Sky, City of Priest, and Tower of Priest.

Tower of Priest special

-	An ancient tower--located in the center of Fairy Forest and surrounded by evil fairies of the forest--where I’Lryer has resided since he was expelled from Geheneh long time ago. It is infested by fairies that were influenced by the evil energy of demons.



-	This tower consists of total 10 levels. Following the tower quests, you must clear up to the 10th level where a boss monster summoned by the spirit of I’Lryer awaits. If you successfully defeat the boss, you will be rewarded with an item that allows you to use the portal to Geheneh Continent.

Tower of Priest is limited to enter as follows :

The areas for saving location

Saving location is available around “Stone of Position”.
(Transferring character is available only between appointed areas.)
Any scrolls for transferring character such as Moving, Recall and Teleport Scroll are unavailable from the 6th floor upwards.

		I’Lryer’s Room		Top Level Quest item available for the questers.

		A magical world; rough, square obsidian columns at the different lengths shoot up and have stone stairs in between.		Upper Level Quest item available for the questers.

		Octagon-shaped magical room in where no physical logics exist; there are walls, but no ceiling. And under the floor is endless space.		Mid Level Quest item available for the questers.

		The bottom levels that give off an intimidating vibe with the high ceiling and thick columns. It is brighter and simpler than other levels.		Lower Level Free for All

Company System

- - - - -	Company System is an extended party system for the entry of “I’Lryer’s Room” on the 10th level of Tower of Priest. An NPC assisting in forming a Company is available on the 10th level of Tower of Priest. 3 Parties can form a “Platoon” that admits up to 18 players. 5 Platoons can form one “Company” that admits up to 90 players. Area-effective magic such as multi-player healing skills affects only same Party members.



- - -	Members of “Platoon” or “Company” will be automatically expelled if they leave the 10th level of Tower of Priest. Only “Platoon or Company Commander” can disband “Platoon or Company.” Platoon or Company, however, cannot be disbanded once the members enter “I’Lryer’s Room.” The basic formation and rules of Platoon and Company are the same as Party.

Only party members within at least “Platoon” can enter “I’Lryer’s Room.”
To form “Platoon,” or “Company,” speak to “Platoon Request NPC” standing next to the entrance of “I’Lryer’s Room.”
Only a “Platoon or Company Commander” can click the door of “I’Lryer’s Room” to enter the room. Once the door is open, every member of the Platoon or Company will be automatically transported into “I’Lryer’s Room”.
Upon entering “I’Lryer’s Room,” at least one member of the Platoon or Company must possess “I’Lryer’s Necklace,” the quest item. Otherwise no one can enter the room. (“I’Lryer’s Necklace”: Quest Item)

The door of “I’Lryer’s Room” changes its appearance depending on the room status: occupied or vacant. If the room is already occupied by a different Platoon or Company, another group cannot enter until the fight is over.

If your group is victorious from the fight with the bosses, you will be given some time to loot items and the questers will receive the quest reward item. And then everyone will be returned to “City of Priest.” “Recall Scroll” and “Saving Scroll of Location” cannot be used inside Tower of Priest.

Forrest of Elements

GuhBalhan who was born in the egg of black crow made up the world. GuhBalHan had gathered elements and doggebis so that he could fall demons to hell. And he completed his own purpose by vanishing to make the universe and the whole creations.

After GuhBalHan disappeared, doggebi lord who ruled over the highland of the sky was fool enough to commit tyranny. Elements who were not interested in the world left to west. Priests were the ones who stayed in the highland of the sky and kept city of the priest. After elements were gone, the Forrest of Elements was sealed.

The Emperor of the Balkhan, Temoth who uninified west contnent Geheneh didn’t keep the promise with the chief priest Eliah. Then Eliah left the Balkhan empire and went over to the highland of the sky. Many big and small elements were awaken as he was passing the way. Even though those elements were asleep for 1000 years, they had power as they were, were wild as they were not before. Eliah lived in the top of the Tower of the Priest.

From devastated forest since it was sealed for 1000 years, elements started to wake up. And so, Hanin and Temoth who leads the west Balkhan makes strategic alliance agreement due to defend human domain from increasing number of common opponents like those monsters, elements, demons and devas.

Forrest of Elements description

It’s like a pentagon, and there are starting elements’s points at each point. In the middle, there is the Tower of the Priest, and each point has altars where ancient humans worshiped for elements. Once it was a great forest but after the elements but after elements were gone, it just got devastated. Its name was only called the forest but it was like a ground like a wasteland where there lives cannot exist.

Monsters in the Forrest of Elements

Lost elements
Lost elements are the ones who are made out of cinders after those elements have left. They are never holy as other elements so they are only dirty instincts. Once it was a forest but now it’s devastated forest. They live there.

Fire elements
They come out in the [fire] area of the Forrest of Elements. They use magical fire attack.

Water elements
They show up in the [water] area of the Forrest of Elements. They use magical water attack.

Wood elements
They show up in the [wood] area of the Forrest of Elements. They use strong physical attack and high defensive skills.

Iron elements
They show up in the Iron area of the Forrest of Elements. They use magical lightning attack.

Earth elements
They show up in the [ground] area of the Forrest of Elements. They use both physical attack and magical attack.

Security guard of the priest
They are around the [top of the priest] and keeps Eliah. We are not sure of them yet.

Quest for changing to 3rd job

1) All quests will be carried out in Forrest of Elements. Party playing strongly recommended for stronger monsters in Forrest of Elements.
2) Quest will begin from NPC “Je-Ga” who was charge in changing to 2nd job to “Sur-An” located in priest’s city.

4th quarter

The New Dungeon 'Tower of the Priest' update - November

- Northwest of the Highland of Sky, high level dungeon, [Tower of the Priest] will begin to explore.
- Player can chase the monsters where they messed up the continent of Naraeha, and through the
Tower of the Priest, they can move to the new land, ‘Geheneh’.
- When you pass the Tower of the Priest, ‘Season 2 of Kal Online’ will begin.

New Character - ‘Thief’ Class update - November

- Specialized battle system which is completely different from the existing, [Thief] class will be added
- Thief characters are very fast and well hidden who are much made up for the battle, also can grow fast.
- So they are very useful and strong when fighting close to the opponent when playing with other parties.

User Interface Update - November

- It will be updated more familiar for the users and to be close to the users.
- Many tool bars that are divided will be added in one so it may be easier to play.
- Help tool bar will be updated for the first users of Kal Online.

Season 2 of Kal Online update - February 2009

- The new world of Kal Online Season 2 will begin through the [Valley of Debah].
- It will be opened through the Valley of Debah which will be connected into Geheneh continent.
- Season 2 of Kal Online will contain high level monster parade and large nation battle which are going
to be constantly updated.
