We have prepared the Bonus Silk Event with various update. We ask for our users interest in this event and detailed information is as the below.
[Event Outline]
Details: Bonus Silk will be added when charging Silk product more than 500 Silk
Payment Option: Paypal, ClickandBuy, PaybyCash (ePin will be applied it later)
Period: Feb 26th, 2008 ~ Mar 11th, 2008
"Capture the Flag!" in Silkroad Online!
"Capture the Flag!" event will be showing its appearance on Feb 26th, 2008.
[Event Outline]
Period: Feb 26th, 2008 ~ Mar 11th, 2008 (Two week duration based on weekly server inspection time)
Item: Collect 10 tickets to receive a reward.
[Event Procedure]
1. When a notice regarding the match appears 10 minutes before the start of the match, players will be able to register for the event by talking to So-Ok located in each town. The match will be proceeded every 2 hours.
2. Participants will be summoned to an arena when the match begins.
3. Participants will be proceeding the match with other players of similar level.
When entering the arena, participants will be wearing either red or blue exclusive outfit to easily distinguish allies from foes.
4. The match will be proceeded for 20 minutes. Once the match begins, monsters will be summoned, and certain monster will drop a key. When the dropped key is obtained, the door to a room with the flag will automatically be opened.
5. The team with the flag attached to their flagpole at the end of the match will win. If no team succeeds in attaching the flag to their flagpole, the match will end in a draw.
6. When the match ends, only the winning team will remain. The team that has lost or ended in a draw will return to the town automatically.
7. Members of the winning team will receive 1 ticket in their inventory as a reward.
8. If a participant defeats a participant of the opposite team, he/she will receive 1 ticket. However, this does not apply when defeating a participant with more than 9 level difference. Bring 10 tickets to So-Ok in town, and you will be able to exchange to an item.
[Things to Note]
1. You may only enter the arena under the following situation:
a. You are alive in town
b. You are not wearing a job equipment of free battle cape
c. You do not have a stall opened
d. You are not exchanging items
e. You are not proceeding a movement quest(ie. A quest prohibiting you from using return scrolls and dimensional gates)
2. There will be 5 second delay when attaching the flag to the flagpole.
3. If you die during the match, you will be moved to your camp after 30 seconds, and there will be no experience points penalty regarding the PK rule.
4. In order to receive a ticket by defeating a player of the opposite team, the level difference between the enemy and you must be below 9.
5. In order to receive a ticket after winning the match, there must be at least one empty slot in your inventory. Please make sure to empty a slot in your inventory before the end of the match.
We now introduce to our users our 4th avatar item, the "Pirate Outfit".

- This avatar item will be sold only for a limited time.
- The "Pirate Outfit" consists of 'Pirate Dress' and 'Pirate Hat'.
- The number and type of magic options that can be added to the avatar items can differ depending on the item.
- There are avatar items for both male and female, so please check the sex of your character before making a purchase.

[Ability Pet - Sylph]
Sylph is a pet that will help the owners pick up items. It will function like other Ability pets, such as Monkey and Squirrel.
[Growth Pet - Bear]
Bear is a pet that will help the owners attack monsters. It will function like other Growth pets, such as White Wolf and Penguin.
[Transport Pet - Buffalo]
Buffalo is a pet that will help the owners transport items during trade runs. It will function like other Transport pets, such as White Elephant and Five Horned Rhinoceros.
[Vehicle Pet - Beetle]
Beetle is a pet that will help the owners move around the fields quickly and easily. It will function like other Vehicle pets, such as Ostrich and Fierce Tiger.

We are happy to announce to our users that there will be three additional new contents tomorrow after the weekly server inspection, other than the scheduled Legend II Fortress War update.
The three additional contents are: Christmas Event, Devil Wing Dress, and Chat Block.
Detailed information on the new contents can be viewed below.
Christmas Event
Title: If it Snows on Christmas
Period: 20:00~24:00, 1:00~5:00 every day from 12/18/2007 to 1/8/2008 Silkroad Standard Time
Details: During the event period, snow will fall, and event monsters will appear on all fields. When event monsters are killed, they will randomly drop Red Santa Socks. Bring the Red Santa Socks to Christmas So-Ok, and she will give you skill points and items.
Devil Wing Dress
Period: Limited sales from 12/18/2007, until stocks are sold out.
Details:
Chat Block
Purpose: To block spammers in town, or any other users that spam through whispering and chatting window.
Details: A 'Block' tab will appear in the community window, which can be brought up by pressing 'U' in-game. Under the 'Block' tab, users will see additional two tabs, which are 'Block whisper' and 'Block all chat'. By registering character names under the 'Block whisper' tab, users will not be receiving whispers from the registered character names. By registering character names under the 'Block all chat' tab, users will not be able to see any messages typed in the chat window by the registered character name, excluding Global Chat.
