Zu Online: No Love in Zu Online This February
The immortal heroes of Zu Online will soon be battling it out amid the jagged peaks of the Zu mountains for the crown of the Overlord. On February 1, Zu Online has started their first major PvP event of the year - The Legend of Heroes-The Way to be the Overlord I. And this event will last for a whole month.
The event is run on an instant knock out basis. The event consists of two parts--preliminaries and finals. 32 qualifiers will be selected to qualify for the finals from the preliminaries. The prelimaries will last 8 days and 4 participants will be selected each day based on the Honor Kill rankings to move on to the finals. All Zu players can take part in the PvP event, which should make the preliminaries one crazy ride!
For those that manage to last into the finals, they will be fighting for more than just bragging rights. The top 5 players will be getting some cool prizes, but the real treasure goes to the final champion, who will be walking away with a Fiery Phoenix egg and their very own column in the forum. Everyone else will have to content themselves with a special consolation prize.

Zu Online: Video Recording Function Coming
Would you like to make Zu Online game videos easily without using third party software? After receiving many suggestions from players, the Zu Online dev team has begun work on a video recording function that will be added to the game in the near future.
To come up with a video recording feature that would be as streamlined and easy to use as possible, the developers tested many different types of controls before determining a final blueprint. The feature will be accessible through the system menu and will be inactive by default. Players will just need to activate the recorder in the system menu (remembering to save changes) before being able to use the tool to record anything they wish.
A player’s actions, including chatting, fighting or anything else they might be doing, will be recorded to an automatically generated video file saved in the root directory of the game. To play a recorded video, users need only open the special video player from the root directory and run the video file. Players can pause, speed up or slow down game videos at their whim.
With the introduction of the in-game video recorder, players will be able to record any special, or not-so-special, moment in the game. Some may even take advantage of the refreshing and elegant Chinese-style wash and ink paintings featured in Zu Online to fashion their own cartoons. The tool will also enable players to record and gather proof of bug exploitation, fraud and much more.
Soon players will have a powerful video recorder just a few clicks away for chronicling both the mundane and the magnificent, all without any third-party strings attached. Game videographers rejoice!

Zu Online: Second Anniversary Brings Rewards and New Content
It’s been just two short years since the release of Chinese kung-fu epic, Zu Online and players have already enjoyed many memorable experiences. Whether it was battling monsters, riding the clouds, or gazing upon a spectacular vista from one of the many cliffs, players will soon have brand new reasons to fan the flames of passion for this unique game.
Debuting August 25, the latest version not only includes a ton of new content, it also updates some of the current features players have grown to love. Among the new content players can expect to see is the Wind Calamity, with its stunning graphics and challenging features. For the more PvP-minded players out there, Soulfight Altar is an arena where more than a few brave souls have left this world for the next.
Sometimes, players can get so involved in the game that when they reach the top or a certain point, they feel that the game has lost its charm and will put it down for a time. With so much new content coming out, the Zu Online team is looking to lure these vets back into action. If you were Level 180+ and it’s been a while since you played, simply pick up where you left off and you’ll be eligible for a very cool, very exclusive gift package from the Award Giver in-game. The rewards include the Cloud Runner Egg*1, Moonlight Chest*30 and the Chess General title. To be eligible, it must have been at least 2 months since you last played Zu Online, and you must start playing again within 1 month of the new version release date.
For those who put down Zu Online less than 2 months ago, you’re not eligible for those prizes, but if you use the new Veteran page to invite Level 180+ veterans who’ve been MIA for more than 2 months back into the game, you’ll earn a gift package including Pet Combination Bolus*5, Moonlight Chest*20 and the Chess General title.
Also, to celebrate the release of version 1.12.01, along with the second anniversary of the game’s release, the Zu Online team is pleased to invite BigDownload reader to experience with a unique gift package for beginners! Each player that registers an account between September 4th and September 19th is eligible to get a Gift Package from our official website and then claim gifts from an Award Giver in game! Each gift package contains an awesome Level 60 item set, plus other incredibly cool items.
Whether you’re just starting out, coming back after a hiatus, or chomping at the bit to experience the new content, Zu Online’s second anniversary celebration has something for you!
