Cross Fire is a first person shooter with an online multiplayer focus. The game involves two International Mercenary Forces Corporations at war with each other. Players assume the role of either Black List or Global Risk operative, and then become a part of an online team in which they must work together in order to complete objective-based scenarios.  There are four campaign modes in the game, Team Death Match, Team Match, Annihilation   Match and Ghost Match. Based on their performance in-game, players will receive experience points and be promoted through different Military Ranks.

1.2: Weapons
Cross Fire features realistic weaponry that is based on actual military equipment. 24 different primary weapons and 4 secondary weapons are available in the game’s inventory. This includes: AK-47, M4A1, P90, MP5, and M700, and so on. Game weapons also include explosive grenades, smoke grenades, and flash bang grenades.

1.3: Realistic Map Design
A total of fifteen maps are designed differently to adapt each match mode. 

1.4: Military Rankings
Players can be promoted up different military ranks according to experience points they gain during the game. Collecting experience points promotes players through different military rankings. Ranks indicate skill level online and serve as a visible marker of a player’s achievements. There are 100 possible ranks. 

1.5: Customized Characters
Cross Fire allows players to personalize their in-game avatar. Players may select from a range of equipment including bulletproof headpieces and vests, backpacks, sunglasses, extra magazines, and so on. These items affect the appearance of a character but not a player’s skill level. 

 

  1.6: Duffle Bag System
It allows selected armaments to be bundled into three different bags. Players can switch their bag before the game starts or at the time of revival. This system gives players the option of configuring different weapon sets for different combat situations.
